Developmental Teams
Girls & Boys
Ages 9 & 10 (Placement is by Birth Year)
- Developmental is an additional opportunity to learn more about soccer and to be introduced to the competitive travel programs that will begin at U11
- You do need to actively elect (sign up) to participant in the developmental program (just contact the league)
- Kids must play In-house to be eligible to play developmental
- New Developmental teams are formed at age U9 for both the girls and the boys
- Practices are held Sundays with Director of Developmental as well as volunteer coaches from the League.

- New U9 teams are organized for the boys and girls at the end of the second week of Fall in-house season
- The U10s will continue as an already established group from the prior year
- There are no tryouts for this team.
- This Devo team will play games against other local towns on Friday, Saturday or Sunday
- This team eventually becomes the Travel Competitive (Comp) team starting at U11
- In June, of the players U10 year, there are evaluations for the U11 Travel team. These evaluations are assisted by paid professional coaches on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday time and location TBD.
- Players trying out for the Comp team are required to make at least 2 of the 3 evaluations.
- Players not interested in playing Comp simply can join the Rec program for which there are no evaluations. This is also a travel team.
- Official coaching assignments are decided at this time as well.
